Celebrating the King of Kings

Dave and Sherry 04/12/2015

This time of year brings forth beautiful decorations, joyful music, special presents given and received, gathering with family, and enjoying holiday meals. There’s a lot to Christmas time, even from the world’s perspective. All through December, everywhere you go you see signs of Christmas.

Here is the really exciting part. The world is celebrating the King of Kings, even if they are not acknowledging it purposely!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God….And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, as the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1,14

Many families are preparing for this special day. But once the gifts are opened, the meal eaten and the decorations put away, they don’t have the continuing joy bursting in their hearts of what they have just unknowingly participated in nor the great love and power that was brought forth on their behalf. The Answer to all their needs that brings life into their hearts, marriages and homes. In our prayer time lets pray that they come and find Him through 2=1 courses. Pray also for some Christian couples who have gotten so involved in outward displays of Christmas they are missing joy in their marriages only He can give. That they too will find His great gifts for them through 2=1 courses. Pray for young single engaged couples desiring to find out what marriage is to be to find God’s good plan through 2=1.

As we prepare to truly celebrate this most awesome event, lets join in prayer for all married couples and their families that this will be a life giving, life changing, falling in love with Jesus Christmas!
